Not a fan of the wheels, but the interior a big improvement. I would actually dye the carpets on both cars black for a cleaner look.
*edit* Searched the archives and have a pretty good idea of what to do. I'll do the swap this weekend.Last edited by MC Hammered; 10-24-2008, 06:23 PM.

I don't know about the seat swap. I think the car with cloth seats now needs black carpet, a black soft top and the hard top should be black now, too.
I know they came with the car to you, but you should replace the rear headrests with the appropriate e30 ones..........get any color and dye them blue.

I'm sure once he finds some, he'll swap them out.
And I also agree about the carpet needing to be swapped as well.turk@gutenparts.com

I'll swap the carpet and put the blue carpet in the blue vert.
I'm considering dying the gray carpet black with the VHT dye that is recommended by Steroinstaller1 and let it dry before putting the carpet back in.
As for the headrests... that is a completely different project.

It's definitely interesting to read all the responses about this car !
Some people are either new here or did not read thru all the threads that were posted here about this vert in the last 6 month.
Having known and intimately touched simone in many ways before, I have to say that you took an interesting direction with her looks. Also, you have a pretty rare collection of parts on that car (sight....tear and I miss them !) so any radical changes (like the wheels) will transform this beauty instantaneously ...
1) I absolutely love the coilovers and the ride height !
2) Hate the wheels, no matter what center caps, they are ugly !
3) Love the interior swap, looks very Euro and unique !

And lastly, as far as the wheels, you need classic design, like BBS RS or at least style 5s. These wheels will look absolutely fantastic on Nina Simone

I appreciate your opinions Vlad.
I know wheels are one thing that can radically change the look of a car and at the same time invokes the most love/hate comments as well.
Obviously I like the wheels and until I find something else, like Levent's Mk1's, to replace them they stay on so I can roll around.

Thanks Levent.
If I can convince some friends of mine to lend me a set of their RS I'll throw them and and take some pics.
And to let you know... I found some sideskirts! ;)

Did a few of small jobs today as it was too cold to start the carpet swap.
Connected power to the Z3 antenna so now I get AM radio, modified the storage tray and riser Levent made so it stays upright and doesn't keep falling down.
Installed a maplight rearview mirror for now until I can find a compass mirror with built in lighting to replace it.
Spent some time with a Dremel and polishing discs to get some valvestem caps I had laying around to a nice shine.
