that ls1 swap looks very good. impressed.

if my 13b ever goes, i'll definitely be leaning there. the rx8s transmission is really weak too. so a ls1+t56 would be awesome.

The 13B is a great turbo-charged motor. In fact, he had a big turbo on there and it ran well, until an apex seal blew and killed just the engine and turbo. Decided to go with the trusty LS1 instead of building another rotary.

In person, it look like a factory install. This picture doesn't do the swap justice.

Btw, I love the gauges/radio positions. It's like you don't even have a radio! haha
Yeah, the M30 AFM is being help up with Zip-Ties until I can get a bracket made for it.

I wasn't sure how'd I'd like the look of the radio in the glove box and the gauges in it's place, but I think it turned out looking really clean. Thanks for the comments.

Still have to give her a good coat of wax, but she's in pretty good shape.

What's going on Ken? You're in Little Rock now right? How's training? Do you have yours running again? Didn't get a chance to see the progress you'd made before you headed out. I'm down in Corpus now, so we may be flying together sometime in the future. Take care man.

really nice fc btw. when i wanted a beater second car i was between an fc turbo II or an e30. i figured i already had one torqueless wonder so i got an e30.

    pics of the ls1 swap?
I really miss my FC, it was a blast to drive. And with simple mods I was running the 13s all day (high 13s mind you). I'll see about getting some pictures of the LS1 swap. Turned out looking like something Mazda had done from the factory, it looks real clean.
