Nothing quite like the real thing...

Boxes form Germany arrived last week and some of the parts that were in them included some black boxes....

    Well this looks promising...

As always they look great! AC Schnitzer parts always amaze me in their quality. And with their counterparts...

I always find it interesting how the different tuning houses (M, Schnitzer, Hartge, Alpina) all found a dead pedal necessary for the e30 yet all took different approaches to building it. The M piece is stamped steel with a rubber top, the Schnitzer parts are machined billet aluminum and the Hartge is cast aluminum. I just need the Alpina pedal to complete the collection. oh yeah... and another e30 to install my parts collection in.

Where the hell is the jawdrop icon? That is an amazing collection there. IIRC, the Schnitzer dead pedal costs just as much as the throttle, brake and clutch pedals combined.

      Impressive.

Awesome collection man! My friend may be looking for a Hartge one like that.

I have an AC Schnitzer dead pedal in the old style, like that of the Hartge one. With a matching Valve cover and shift knob of course. ;)

You bought ANOTHER set of ACS pedals?

Fuck, I wish I had the money to be able to blow on 2 sets of $400 pedals, along with a Hartge dead pedal, and an ///M dead pedal.

Good stuff! Any change of maybe selling that Hartge one? :D

which is more than what I can say for the rest of the AC Schnitzel line-up for the new cars.- absolute garbage!- cheap china built stuff

Yeah the pedals are for the e82 however. As mikeedleer said I was REALLLY disappointing in ACS on the e82. All the stuff looks really cheep! i was expecting a treatment similar to the e46 m3 which i LOVED. For now I will just stick with the acs pedals and wheels and hope they change their tune or I will make the change to BMWperformance parts which I think look awesome. Rumor has it that ACS is in a lil financial trouble which may explain the lack of quality of the newer parts as well as their attacks and confiscations of counterfeit stuff. With zender closing its doors it doesnt seem too far off as a possibility. lol I am doin my part...

As for the Hartge pedal. I am hoping to put it along with the rest of my pile of rare e30 parts onto another e30 but I am having trouble finding a nice one! If I dont find one or if I find a NOS black ACS pedal It would be for sale... but until then...

Thanks for all the compliments guys!!!
