    In truth you should either core out the closet dowel you used for the bars and insert a steel rod, or, replace with chrome closet dowel that is preped and treated and painted, there is too much bow in the wood there and it looks silly.

    Sorry, but I don't like it either. I also never liked the lack of bumper trim you've had (or not had?) on your car.

    In the end, though, it's your car and that's all that matters. I give you mad props for doign it though, and I certainly respect it.
