Either way I don't care. I don't care if anyone likes it or not, but some people are just being elitists and think that their BMWs are god's charriot. I didn't hurt the car in any way.

My worthless $.02:
People do the rusty hoods, roof racks, what-have-you due to the fact that the base car they are modifying is a plain-jane car, and they want to attract attention. Just like the person who feels the need to shout a smart ass comment right before a movie, they are using the "WTF" aspect to obtain said attention.
An e28 offers the perfect start to have a very clean look that will get attention just from the classic lines of the car. You dont have to be relegated to ostentatious mods for people to take a second look in their rear-view mirror. M3Auston's e28 is 100% pure sex, and for me, part of that comes because he played off the lines of the car, still retaining its form.
That being said, its your car, and I wont shoot it next time it rolls down the street ;)
