pics from the October Fest at Watkins Glen - Rain paradise

I was there for 3 days and the freaking rain ruined it, miserable weather and horrible conditions at the track. Never the less, few brave souls made it to the race track and even raced during the rain/fog (which is insanity at the Glen). Met few members, saw bunch of other members... Hope the weather will be better next year.

    Enjoy the pics

Fri afternoon, few members from s14.net trying to stay dry

Vlad: Were you in your mini cooper?

Because I saw you driving around taking pictures in the rain. You snapped a photo of me I think, next to the beat up green 2002 and the blue E34 M5..

That E30M3 poster was from last years Oktoberfest, since it was the anniversary of the E30M3. It was a theme poster.

A guy from my chapter won the original in the raffle for it last year...

that's so funny, I could not see anything thru the lens because of the rain and didn't want the camera to get wet and then I thought, why is this dude blocking the cars ...LOL

yeah, drove the Cooper to WG, after I saw the forcast I didn't want to drive 700 miles round trip in the rain in the vert or the DTM replica and listen to the complaints of my passenger about how loud the cars are

just spent 2.5 hours cleaning it after the roadtrip
