The Alpinas are fresh from media blasting and will soon be painted. The crusty springs etc. have been refinished as well.

I have that same cluster. I've never seen another one. Looks like yours has the brown guage surround instead of the black too? Mine came with red needles though. Came from an '84 Alpina 318i.

That cluster is only parts of the Alpina one. The Great US Postal service saw fit to smash the shit out of the original. It was out of an 86 B6 2.8, so it would not have worked with my 91 anyway. It did have red needles, but I like the white better so I used those. The whole surround was like a gray-brown flocking, but from where it was broken, a lot of it was rubbed off, so I only used the part that surrounds the idiot lights on my new cluster.
