While I understand what you are saying, why would I tell everybody exactly what I did to get my results if I'm obviously interested in doing it as a service for people for a little cash?

I understand this is an enthusiast website and the point is to share information and knowledge to help each other out and better our cars! But this is america, and our economy sucks - so at the expense of a dollar sometimes you keep some things to yourself. The point of the thread is still relevant though - "look what you can do to your old faded e30 paint, it's not a lost cause".

When you drop your car off at the mechanic, does he tell you a step by step process of how he fixed your car? My guess is no, because then you wouldn't need him the next time you need a brake change. Nice of him to tell you how he did it? Yes. Was it smart? No.

Lastly, and for the record, my brother did most of the detailing on my car. If you have any questions as far as products used or methods, pm him (beeasy) and if he'd like to share it's his perogative.

Hope that clears things up... not looking for hard feelings toward or from anyone ;)

I understand your position, however since your brother is a detailer, he will/can attest to the fact that the tools don't make the man...there is a level of skill and experience that is needed to get the result you guys got. Nevertheless...the car looks great...no hard feelings here. :D
