Coming from a guy that recently bought an E46 Touring to daily and parked the E30 for quite some time without driving it....DON'T SELL IT. The E46 is an awesome daily and I love the car, but I get so much joy from driving the E30 now that it is not a daily. I loved my E30 a both times, but I got really tired of the pot holes and parts breaking, etc. Now it is just fun. I grab the car on a weekend or hop in for a fun drive to work. You will regret not having the E30 for a joy ride or two. Your car is hawt! Fix it and buy a daily that is stock.

You're absolutely right. I'm now looking for another E30 most likely an M42 car that I can DD and get some nice gas mileage with. I do have SOME room I could convince the rents to just let me cover the car up in the side yard... :D

Instead of buying a daily, use your bike/public transportation to commute?

Saves lots of dough.

I WISH I could do that. My work is 20 miles away... :( With the combination of work and school I would have to leave SO early and that's just not possible.

The best thing you could ever to for the e30 is to buy that e34. Never loved my mk2 GTI as much as i did when i bought my mk4 GTI. The pure connection you get with modded older cars is un obtainable with newer cars. You just get kind of numb to the feeling when your driving it every day. Yes modded cars suck as DDs.

I really wish I could afford the E34 right now. It's pretty much perfect too. Automatic, dark green wagon with just over 100k on it. Maybe I can convince someone to loan me $3000...

It's not just the accident, I've been getting tired of driving it around for a while, I've not been keeping it clean all the time like I used to. I guess I'm just not into the scene as much as I was before. I'm going to see if I can't pick up an E39 Touring or something of the like. Something nice clean and stock... GAHHH that would be so amazing, a STOCK car...

I think I'm starting to grow up. :(

Growing up is for the birds...I have an e39 Touring and came back to an e30 as a fun car and something that I enjoy. I can't wait until she's where I want her to be and the e39 will be sitting more, unless the family has to go somewhere.:)

I share daily duty between 2 cars, and the e30 rests on days that traffic is bad, or its gnarly weather.

Keep it, maybe even wait to fix it to save some $$ and have a lil more for your daily/beater.
