My car has gotten some attention over the past 3 months. The H&R sport springs and KYB shocks were replaced with IE3 springs & Koni shocks. Because I did not like the saggy rear end look the springs gave me, I installed 10 mm drop hats in the front. I had installed IE's 22/19 swaybar kit back in March, and the swaybar reinforcements on the trailing arms were welded poorly. I was slowly bending the driver side mount. I ordered Turner Motorsports reinforcements (much better design) and had a friend weld them in. Since the trailing arms were removed, I decided to replace the bushings; along with the subframe and diff bushings. Here I used AKG poly bushings all around. The amount of work I did trying to get the old subframe bushings out was rewarded when I actually hand pressed the new ones in. When everything had be reinstalled, I finally got to mount the new wheels. They are Azev type A's, front: 16x7.5 et20 with 205/45 tire and rear: 16x9 et15 with 215/40 tire. I had been rocking the same wheels for the past five years, so it was nice to have a change of scenery. Since I hadn't taken any official photos of the car in over a year, I washed/waxed the car yesterday and headed out to snap a few. Now enjoy some pictures.
The car with new IE3 & Konis, but before drop hats, and old wheels.

How the car sat for a week.

Removal of the rear subframe.

Removing the bushings.

Tires going to be mounted, swaybar mounts to be reinforced.

All bushings installed and rearend ready for reinstallation.

Finished product:

A photo some fellow enthusiasts from Ohio took as they traveled through SC.

Using the cones as a prop. One even doubled as my camera base for the dusk photos.

5 second shutter, moved downward the last second.
I like to think of it as the "marionette e30"
