              Better gearing on track and at solo events. plus there is better tire selection in this size.

                    I do track it, but that isn't my trailer.

                    I drive it to the track, race all day, drive home... usually w/o issues. ;)

                        Finally some action shots from a higher speed solo event.

                        * a little counter steer

                        * sidewall f l e x

                        more pics: here

                        I'm very pleased with how the car handles aside from needing to lead the tires.
                        I think a move to 17x# w/ 40 series rubber would do wonders. A portion of the body roll is portrayed in the pics is in fact the sidewalls. The 225/50-16 Dunlop Direzza are great for gearing, but carry soft sidewalls which requires leading the car more than I'd prefer.

                        Car performed well. My friend Chris in his E30 M3 had issues, so we ended up w/ 4 drivers in this car that day.

                        Class Results: http://kcrscca.org/solo/results/2008...weenie_fin.htm

                        Pax Results: http://kcrscca.org/solo/results/2008...weenie_pax.htm <-- all drivers in this car were in top 10 (quite a time spread even)

                        I was plagued with stupid errors, and then a mis shift on my last run pretty much ruined it for me.

                        Looks like a stiffer front swaybar could be put on as long as it doesn't adversely affect the balance.

                        Thanks for looking,

                        Jon

                              Mine too! I have a set of the slips coming soon but are in the gunmetal/polished lip finish. I'll be getting them painted flat black like yours. On an alpine too. Love the look!
