not sure I care for the gold/yellow combo, but it sure beats the hell out of the "typical" E36 mod scene (they're even more rigid than us E30 guys).
    true story.

For sub-$10k you really can't go wrong. It's also required FAR less maintenance than my E30 ever did in DD duty.
All those things, yes. I've wanted one as a DD for a while, but it wouldn't really be a practical work vehicle for what I do (commercial data/telecom tech), so I have a little pickup. But my E30 still gets to stay nice and warm in the garage over the winter.

IMO. Actually it sits very similar to the way my e46 sits. Love the color comination but I think that it needs a wider tire front and rear. I like the grinding down the rear wheel to get it to tuck and slamm it.

I'm quoting this. Because I like it.

To answer a few questions and stuff.

215s are necessary for clearance. Without getting into even more fender work, 225s would be the absolute max. I don't really care though, as there is still a lot of traction with good tires. Width /= grip.

The lip is a MaxVelocity RS. Paint is Dakar.

This is the only place in the world (except for maybe vortex) that thinks I need spacers. It's hilarious, local people tell me to grind the hubs to get the wheels more inside. I rather like the stance, and admit ~8-10mm front isn't out of the question.

Thanks for all the comments guys, hate and love. :p

    alright, love it.

the stance is nice because it still looks very drivable.

but i agree to the spacer in the back

unless you want to ball and tuck rim :)

E36 is what i fell in love with when I was in school. Sold my 99 a couple years ago, wish I hadn't.

Th E36 M is capable of alot more modern looking wheels, but those still look very nice on it. And I have never ever seen gold wheels on Dakar, but taht look is not bad.

I like the wheels, but not on that car. Car looks good too, just not with those wheels.

I call dibs, I know of a GREAT home for them when you want to sell. No, not my e30 lol ;)
