I think it's alright... Spacer would be ok, but I think your springs are pretty soft for too much poke right? Look at these kids and being scared of a 215 on a 9" wheel... lol. Although a 35 series tire is pretty small for a 215... Overall, I like it and I like the color combo a lot. BUT you need M3 Lux side skirts ;)-Erik

I like the wheels, but not on that car. Car looks good too, just not with those wheels.
I call dibs, I know of a GREAT home for them when you want to sell. No, not my e30 lol ;)sigpicComment

E36 is what i fell in love with when I was in school. Sold my 99 a couple years ago, wish I hadn't.
Th E36 M is capable of alot more modern looking wheels, but those still look very nice on it. And I have never ever seen gold wheels on Dakar, but taht look is not bad.Comment

To answer a few questions and stuff.
215s are necessary for clearance. Without getting into even more fender work, 225s would be the absolute max. I don't really care though, as there is still a lot of traction with good tires. Width /= grip.
The lip is a MaxVelocity RS. Paint is Dakar.
This is the only place in the world (except for maybe vortex) that thinks I need spacers. It's hilarious, local people tell me to grind the hubs to get the wheels more inside. I rather like the stance, and admit ~8-10mm front isn't out of the question.
Thanks for all the comments guys, hate and love. :pComment
