Have you tried getting a shell somewhere else in Europe? That could be another possibility. Best of luck.

Thats not an option. If i do a lot of paper work and gets lucky, i can do a "chassis swap". Meaning that they destruct my old chassis and register the same car with the new chassis number.
Thats very hard to do, and if i import a 325i It will cost about $8000 to get license plates on it. $10500 if i register it with the Hartge engine.

The other guys insurance company payed me $10 000, so the rebuild has started.
A chassis workshop will do most of the work. Following parts will be replaced with new ones:
Both front fenders, radiator frame, the part below the bumper.

When i get the car home, I will weld in new fenders in the rear, weld the antenna hole, install m-tech2 side skirts and plates, DTM mirrors, and new trunk lid.
Then the car is ready for paint. :)

I also got these for the next crash. :P

glad to hear you can rebuild it but those harnesses really dont look much better than stock for a street driven car the factory 3point is prob your best option because they allow tour body to move around in case of something crushing you and those harnesses probably cause you to submarine in a crash. just my opinion tho hoping car will be even sicker!

The belts has anti submarining straps. And i belive they will be more safe in most crashes.

Too bad about the damage. It was a really nice sedan. I think rear headrest would complete the interior though, but it may hurt rearward visibility.

I dont want headrests. People are not meant to sit there. :P

I picked up my car at the bodyshop today.
I have to paint the engine bay, install dtm-mirrors and m-tech2 panels and side skirts before paint. ;)
