Its a bone stock car. Just being looked after doesnt make your car worth more than the average. Metal bumper cars never fetch the higher values anyway, even stock. The most sought after regular model e30 is the 89 325is. Your car is everything that car is not. lol

As a rule of thumb, those cars rarely go for over 2k here in the e30 inflated pnw market.

You are lucky to get 50% of your money back from what you spent on building a car.

I would say 3000 (+/- 10%). Not bein a jackass, just bein honest.

wow your being kind. id say 1500. and thats only cause its low mileage.

edit: youre in so cal also where e30s are a dime a dozen. you can get later model plastic bumper 325s for under 2000 any day of the week.

                      ^ +1

Early model, m10, stock. $1500 due to the low miles and general good condition.

I understand why some people can value the car at 3k. With todays economy and high gas prices that is probably the perfect daily driver, but if you want to raise the value of the car do a Euro bumper swap with an Mtech1 kit. Keep in mind that you rarely get back what you invested in the car.

i'd say never; even if you do all your own work and are paying for parts only, you'd have to find a real sucker to pay for the car's worth + the exact dollar amount you spent on mods & upkeep.

car is easily forth $2500, after that it depends on your salesman skills.

Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to raise the resale value without spending a lot more money.
