    new to BMW's

I'm new to BMW's in general. I knew about the e30's and such. but not much.

I have recently purchased one locally.

So here it is in all its glory.
87 325is. Formerly known as "The Pumpkin"
It needs quite a bit of work, but runs and drives quite well.
Came with bbs sideskirts and rear spoiler. and a few boxes of extras :)

Looks to be in very good shape. Good purchase.

I actually don't mind the 'paint job', it looks pretty cool :P

I really like the paint job. Pretty cool. I never knew BBS made body parts for e30's?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

            now you know.

i actually think the car looks pretty silly with those different colors, but at the same time it does seem to be in good shape with straight panels and what not. good luck and have fun getting it into the condition in which you are wanting it.

The plan right now is just to get all the general maintenance done. Fix some stuff, like the heat. And just drive the car over the winter. Hopefully by the spring I can get it painted. get some better wheels and go from there.

Here's a couple pictures I'm using for inspiration. I want to redo the paint in Inka Orange. put the side skirts on it. And just make it look better. Possibly blacking out the trim and bumpers.
The front bumper is tucked, the rear is ready to be tucked, but just not done yet. Also came with a fiberglass rear filler piece that needs a lot of work to fit the car again.

Oh, and I have realized how much time I could spend reading, researching. just getting overloaded on E30's in general on here. But I work about 14 hours a day, and I just don't have time for that.

BBS had a whole kit for e30, front damn, skirts, rear apron and spoiler. Pretty rare.

That's one interesting car, but once its a bit less "omfglookatme" I think it'll be a lot nicer, and less cops will pay attention. :p
I think that's one of the more unique color schemes I've seen on almost any car. Nice find. Would've been hard not to. :D
