I've seen this car in person, and all I can say is BAD ASS. I prob spent double on my rear suspension then bob spent on his whole m30 swap.. that's what makes this swap super bad ass.. forget bolt ons on a m20, in bobs case.. just do a damn m30 swap! haha.. and besides, anything above 200 crank HP on a e30 is pretty damn quick.

Bob rolled up @ the local meet running open headers.. sounded like a cammed out v8 with straight pipes.

IIRC some of them put down 220. The potential for huge power via boosting is there too. Regardless, they have tons of torque. I had a 82 735i euro - that car was a beast. So fun to drive - and only because of the motor!

If I did a motor swap I'd do a m30.

i dont doubt that at all, thats why i asked about boost initially. im not bagging on the dude, it was just a question. lol, im just not all that familiar with the engine. looks sick though.
