show and go 08 vw content

so as with every car show, there's always good cars... and there's always bad. ALWAYS BAD. they had drags, a little burnout contest, swap meet, cars entered in the show, and a sick parking lot. overall very fun!

    here's the good!

    e30andy's 16v rabbit of course

    clean

    corrado in the parking lot

    niiiice rabbit

some random sweet cars either dumped, nice wheels, sweet engine etc

    here's the bad/terrible/ridiculous/lame!

    Eurostyle30 says these cars suck.

airbrushed m42 on the bottom of your hood? the beetle with the tv's in the front spoiler and covering the engine had his own generator running the car's a/v shit. that is all.

It's not that hard, the 2.0L beetle has room around and on top of the motor ;)

but why? why cover your bumper and motor in TVs to the point it makes your car undriveable? I have nothing against veedubs, but I hate people who mod cars like that. it's just fucking stupid. You want a A/V system? put one in your house, where it belongs.

Did you miss the screens down in the front spoiler? ;)

                    Show car, nothing more.

Why people do it? I'd guess it's a hobby like any other, some get it others don't. Look at the high end of the spectrum, multi million dollar hot rods that you can't afford to drive even if you wanted to. I love to look at them when the Hot Rod show comes to town but would never want to own something I couldn't drive. It's only so cool when it spends it's life being pushed from the trailer to the rotating, elevated display stand ;)

'twas a good show, lots of sick cars. I didn't even wash mine but entered it anyway because we were only one of 5 rabbits there. The brown one with ITBs is a very very good friend of mines old car. I sent him a camera phone pic and he almost cried
