First pictures after tranny swap (56k no)

Decided to take a few pics of the car in its current state, I have not washed it yet, so its dirty as hell, however I figured it may be a good idea to take a few shots.

The car does not have the strut tower brace yet, I still have to paint it, so that its black with the rest of the engine bay, the exhaust is still hanging too low, I am waiting for a few mounting fixings to come in, so I will fix that either tommorrow or wed (which is also why the muffler is sideways a little)

I also need to get the needed fittings so I can connect and wire up the oil temperature guage on the m3 instrument cluster, perhaps I will do that this weekend, and of course wash the goddamn car.

What was done to the car over 5 days last week was the following

5 Speed Conversion, new driveshaft, rebuilt shift linkage with m coupe short shifter, new 325i clutch kit, stainless steel brakelines, m3 steering rack, new tie rods, all new sway bar linkage, cabrio front bar, m3 rear bar with reenforced trailing arm tabs, 3.25LSD Diff with M Coupe Diff Cover, 325i Exhaust (dual pipes all the way back), new ureathane subgframe and trailing arm bushings, and a sore back and empty wallet :D

    and the pics

That would be the best race of all time. 8)

That's a very hot looking eta. Where'd you pick up the m3 cluster?
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Yeah that would be a great race, as our cars are more then likely the same in terms of performance.

got the M3 Cluster, M3 Sway bar, and M3 Steering rack (plus a bunch of other stuff for friends) from a local guy who got rearended at 88K miles

It wouldnt be a good race. In the 1/4 you would beat me by about 1320 feet. Maybe in a week and a half we could give it a go.

Unless you wann run the 04 Neon auto. If you lost I would have to shoot you.

A month ago I might have still had an edge. Your wheel tire combo is a bit heavier.

and in a week and a half I would die horribly against the EsFitty.

That M Roadster/Coupe short shifter don't look that short. But I know its badass, and you love it...

Looks great, can't wait to see the rest of the car done!
