keep that car, even with rebuilt autotragic. Perfect college carComment

If I want to keep it, I have to pay my parents for it. So next year I will be either a)carless, b)driving a stick E30, or c)driving a stick Volvo 240. I have a thing for Volvos. And it depends on where I go to college. I really want to go to Columbia, so I would obviously not need a car there. A more realistic place for me to go would be Clemson or Auburn, so I might take a car with me. Right now I am just saving up my money so that I have to option to buy a car if I decide I want to.Comment

Nice to meet you. What kind of Merc is that? My dad drives a W123, thing is huge.
Right now I am working a minimum wage job (Bojangles) to save up money. I only have to pay insurance for my car, other than that, the only money I spend is eating out, going to the movies, etc. So hopefully by next summer I will have around 3-4 grand saved up. Then I will be able to decide what I wants to do.Comment

I dunno. Whenever I visit home, my current E30(autotragic)will be available to me, but I am going to want one in college. Only can get shitfaced and play CS so much.

Oh, my dad's is an '81 280e and it is slow as hell. Those old Merc's look really cool, and they are really comfortable though. I had been driving that car for a week and when I got my car back today it felt like the fastest thing ever.Comment

yeah, its really quite funny, he makes fun of the honda guys cause alot of the cars look "fast" but are slow as hell. and his car is slow as fuck but has a momo steering wheel, straight piped, lowered, and big wheels. his car is slow, smells, and leaks. its a great looking car tho.Originally posted by FerdinandI carry a cheap pressure gauge in my glovebox with which to manually check my tire pressures, but I keep forgetting that in the USA glovebox space is sacred as it is reserved exclusively for the purpose of storing handguns.
