the start of a beautiful relationship...

hello all. after searching for several months, i finally found what i was looking for. i picked this up about 7 weeks ago or so. i had the auto swapped out for a manual and started my stereo install. i'm honestly not even sure which mods i'm going to go with at this point. i'll figure all that out later. i'm just enjoying the car stock for now. on to the pics...

That is gorgeous. Like rusty said all it needs is small suspension work and you are all set.

Unless you a r3v rookie you need sportmaxx and volvo lip y0o. jk

wow great score. it looks like 75k on it??? a 75k auto should be in as nice shape mechanically as it is cosmetically. if it were mine id do some lowering springs and a nice period correct wheel and leave it

Beautiful e30! There aren't very many original examples around anymore, I would improve upon the suspension aspects of the car & perhaps some simple BBS style wheels....then leave everything else as-is.

Looks mint. I would start by lowering it a bit. You definately on the right track if you only own it for 7wks and already did 5spd conversion.

If it was mine I would do the following and leave the rest alone:

                  1) bilstein sports/h&r sports
                  2) 15 euro weaves and good tires
                  3) hid for low-beams
                  4) e30m3 e-brake boot
                  5) new front seat belt latches
                  6) and maybe swap those yellow front speaker covers and map pockets.

It looks like a great start! Congrats!

thanks for all the kind words. suspension is definitely a top priority. my previous vehicles have always followed an OEM+ mod style. so i won't go any larger than a 16" wheel (prob stick with 15's). no crazy body kits or wings. i'll have a nice stereo, a lowered but not slammed suspension. and i'll probably go with the black/tan combo interior. maybe a chip & injectors. but all of that is a long ways down the road...

Congrats fellow North Carolinian. That's one of the cleaner cars in general that i've ever seen. I'm really jealous.
