    Loving is what I got.

I turned 16 on the 27th of August, and on the 20th of September I had this beast in my front drive. I paid for it all by myself, so it felt good.

As you can see, I was quite excited, and nearly asleep.

I've been saving since then, and have ordered a Dinan ECU, Remus Exhaust, a Generic air intake, 8mm Ignition wires, and platinum spark plugs.

    What's next? Suspension.

Have you made a purchase from www.blunttech.com recently?

    You're right.

Looks good, dude. Props for paying for it all yourself. Do you mean a DINAN chip, or the entire ECU?

          Beautiful e30 vert!

I'd pass on an air intake...not worth it. Has the timing belt/water pump/drive belt service been done on it recently?

            Best part of your post.

Great looking car, and welcome to R3V. Suspension is first, then wheels later. Actually, all of the required maintenance items come first, then all that other stuff.

And Platinums are bad. I want you to say that over and over again.

I'll never forget when i paid for my e30 in cash shortly after i turned 16, feels good man. You'll be cool on here as long as you don't become an e-thug and act immature.
Now throw some suspension on there!!

it felt REALLY good. I'll sell the platinums to my brother, tell him he can make an expensive ring out of it.

                  Just the chip.

The regular maintenance was done by the guy I bought it from, timing belt, water pump, you know. He's an old family friend that works on old BMWs for a living, so I got a good tour of it.

Congrats on the car. How did you make your money?

platinumplugs wouldn't necessarily destroy your engine, they're just not as "tough" as the copper core bosch plugs. it would seem for first couple of miles that your engine runs a lot better+smoother on platinum, but they will foul out (basically slowly disintegrate) and you'll get a very rough/shitty running engine.
