What year is the GTI? Was driving one for a bit while my e30 was getting its clutch replaced. It was my boss's, I sea-foamed it for him, talk about bringing a smile to an old man's face. Fun little car.

I had an 83 GTI. It caught fire and burned up :( It had the Cabriolet rear tail light conversion, which, in my opinon, looks way better than the stock lights. Clean though, nice cars man

Thanks guys, the gti is an 84. I think what I like most about it is how simple they are to work on. makes a great track day car.
