i really dont know anything about this wheels the guy that sold them to me couldnt tell me anything but the bolt pattern, as far as rubbing well they are are 17x8 and the rim sits about a 1/4 inch from the shock tower, or whatever its called, i am assuming that once i put tires on them i will need spacers for the front

thanx td325ic for the chops, i like black wheels on my car, hell i like my bottlecaps, but i want to try something different i will run them gold for a while and if i dont like it i will paint them balck
                i appreciate the comments tho

                  update

I finally put the wheels on, painted my highs and fogs, window tint.
i decided not to paint the wheels black, i think that my car was starting to look like most of the alpines in r3v

i was thinking about getting some spacers for mine as well. yet someone told me that they're dangerous? as in, he heard someone had them on his e30 and while driving one wheel busted off the bolts cause the spacers?

ive never heard anything like that before so idk if hes bs'n me or what.

You need 225/35s on that. I dont think spacers is nessecery. Maybe a drop wouldnt hurt. Nice car though.

quality spacers are fine! make sure they are hub-centric if they are of any substantial thickness though. if you don't get a good bite with the stock lug nuts you might want to go to studs though!

the problem is that your friend HEARD this, many an Internet/fourm myth has been perpetuated this way

No, it just looks damn stupid. Not to mention the PAINT on the fogs and high beams.

When, when, WHEN are people going to get that cars look absolutely RETARDED with big aftermarket wheels on stock ride height?

I would have 1000 x the respect for it if it were slammed on stock wheels. I saw a kid in an Integra the other day, dropped to the absolute perfect height, still on the stock steelies with stock plastic hubcaps, and it looked great.

You should have spent your money on fixing your fucked up hood, getting a real front lip, and lowering the car before you ruined it with all of your "mods".
