Those are some great looking pics. I've actually driven that road all the way till it meets up with the dam back when my car was stock and I had clearance to make that type of drive. It was a hell of a lot of fun.
But there have also been some not so good times up there, i.e. rolling an m3 off a cliff. A friend let his inexperienced friend drive his car through the twisties and this is what happened.
Don't mean to rain on the parade of nice pictures, but just want to throw out that warning that just when you may want to push it a little bit farther, you're one wrong move from the edge.Comment

Good stuff.
It's a fun road, as long as you never think you're Michael Schumacher on it, you'll be ok.Comment

Killer stuff. I'm moving to Phoenix in January for a few months and these pics definitely got me even more excited.Comment

I love the desert. It's my second mistress. It's better at sunrise on LSD. Great pics. My water heater is leaking in my foundation ATM.Comment

Thanks for all the kind words, and the words of warning. But, I never plan on treating T-flats like The Ring. I'm not entirely simple. I just wanna be able to take all those turns where I was stuck behind someone at more than 5-10mph. 30-40 on most of them is more than intence!
Ya, I can't believe how well that last pic turned out. Took at least three others from the same angle and they all looked like shit.

That asphalt looks fucking great. I wish we had that shit out here. Reminds me of the Autobahn. Billiard table smooth.

Ya, very smooth ride, yet grippy at the same time. Like sharp gravel spread evenly over old Tarmac then sprayed with tar. Idont know the proper name, but I call it chip n' seal. It was fairly new as well.
