I've never liked the look of tints. I think it takes away from the car. But i like your IX. looks mint.

Normaly i think cars look better with tint....tinting my wifes e90 looks great but for some reason the e30 just looks better without. However, tint does really extend the life of the interior.

How much uv does 35% let in? I really like how you can see in your ix and it isnt just a big black box. Looks sharp and classy,,,, just how a e30 should look

I'll be doing 35% this weekend. No need for extra hassle from the cops.

Yea I have a couple reasons for this.....I lived in Staten Island all my life, and bought property in NJ about 4-5yrs ago and have never switched over. I still use my mom's address in NY for license & car stuff, only b/c NJ has pretty strict laws as far as inspection, tint, car mods etc.....My audi would never pass. Also carrying a NY license, I have the benefits of not having points carry over....if for whatever reason I get a ticket outside of NY. NYS doesn't carry over license points if ticketed outside the state. Its not legal, but that is the risk I take being a car enthusiast.

your buddy gave me a lead on an inspection shop that'll pass a car sight unseen for the right $$ so inspection should not be an issue :)
