well im here to introduce myself ...

ive been lurking on the site for the past couple months ... buying alot of stuff from members ....

this is my 01/88 production date bmw 325is

i originally purchased the car almost a year ago for a couple hundred bucks ... it has a rebuilt title out of california. car fax says it has 200k before it fell off the radar and fell into my hands

not the cleanest car in the world ... its my panda mis matchin alpine white cow







it had a blow head gasket .. running very very very low compression ... so i pulled the motor out

and i let it sit in my garage for a couple months ...

i found a person who was parting out a 91 325is automatic with 120K miles ... so he pulled it and i took it home ..




did all the maintenace ...

and finally put it inside .. and added some more stuff to her ... but im just getting started

as she sits of this week

















i will be using my thanksgiving break as a time to focus and get her completely done and tie up all lose ends ...

oh yeah ....

i changed out all the interior for black .. black door panels ... rear leather seat, have some head rests that i am going to put in ... and i am going to be running black leather s2k seats ... flame ON! .. but they are sure as hell comfy ... and for those who are tall .. a god send and very low

I like a lot of things about this car, I won't bother to enumerate them all.


Things that stick out:
- Your wheels are like et45, even though they're a nice design. Get some spacers, for the love of width :)
- Why did you get rid of those intact and nice-looking tan sport seats?

they are +32 offsett .. yes i will get spacers

they werent really intact seats when i got them .. little by little i put them together ... they still need some work ... but actually look good since i have put some attention to the leather and gave it some life

More pics on the 510? I miss mine had a couple 2 doors back in the early 90's when I graduated high school and a wagon a couple of years ago.

Back in the day we use to call that the poor mans bmw because it kinda looked like the e30 with it's box frame.

Spent 10k canadian back in the day restoring my 510 ordering NLA parts from Japan and everything.

good start on the e30 I like the seats. I was a tech at Honda/Acura for awhile so I know how comfy those seats are.

im happy someone noticed the 510 ... im surprised no one has yet to ask me why i havent used the wheels on the e30 or asking to buy them from me ... LOL

yes they car comfy ... and came out of my friends wrecked s2k .. so i picked them up for cheap

im just starting with the car ... been going to school .. and was laid off from a job at a Mitsubishi dealership .. stopped working at a 4 x 4 shop and i have finally found a good paying steady job
