    His and Hers

The girlfriend got a new car with my help. She has been driving around an 84 318i with an eta swap [its and upgrade somehow] It drove great for a year or so, but never felt right... then it started acting up so i went looking for a new one.

Waiting in the garage for someone else to drive her... after a rallycross :)

The new one is an '89 325is with some botched rear end work [hit by a dump truck] and a junkyard motor [broken t-belt] Picked it up for $500. Fixed the front end, chaged t-belt, swaped out the bavauto/bilstein tourings for ac schnitzer springs/bilstein sports.

5 speed, black interior [crackfree dash], lighted mirror, full obc w/ signal stalk switch, cruse, power sunroof, working ABS. And its bronzit!!

And since she likes to burn 2 songs per cd every other day...

    Sounds pretty good too!

I tried really hard but could not talk my fiance in to buying anything made before 2005.

M42sport, the reason you've never seen one is becasue the only colors that M42 cars were sold in were AlpineweissII, Diamondschwarz, lachsilber, granitsilber, lagunengrün, and red (I forget which one).
