    Pillowy soft goodness

You all know the story, the 318 now rides on E30 M3 springs and Bilstein Tourings. It sits just as high as my brothers stock 318i, it really is pillowy soft, and it ALMOST pulls the front tires off the ground when you jump on it in 1st!!

The car oversteers insanely in any situation, so it has taken a bit of getting used to--might need to loosen up the rear swaybar a notch.

The Ground Control sticker on the front lip is coming off ASAP.

You should feel it with the fun suspension :P

edit: I'll take some measurements tomorrow and add it to the Suspension Height thread.

I just realized, your Car Domain page was the reason I wanted to get a 318is. I thought that 316d idea was genious too. It's really weird that I have a Diamond Black/tan one, I didn't plan on that.

Your ride height now rivals mine. Awesome!
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

It was genius back in 1997 when Duane Collie did it.

                  Nice wheels. ;)

Why would you sell off your tinted tails or GC's?
I'm thinking either he is making it stocker.....(haha).....or needed $ as he is in college.

Or, maybe J-stocks are down the road? That was another possibility that came to mind.

Most people want to get GC's, not give them up. :P

It is funny you mentioned his car domain site, it is what made me go for the swap into my POS 84 318i.

He got rid of a lower, stiffer suspension for looks?

Personally I think the swap was stupid. If you want a stock look, just raise your damn ride height...I mean, why else did you get GCs?

Why on earth get rid of the GC's, why not just get softer spring rates if it's too much car for you, atleast you still get the adjustability.
