i was aiming for the ferrari red. my last e30 was zinno.
so i wanted red accents on my alpine.

type r's dont have ribs on their valve covers.
mine doesn't have krinkle finish either.

Its cool that you like it, and I admit the valve cover was done with quality work. It's just other people would get a suspension or something.

don't even begin with that maintenance before aesthetics thing.
i have done most of all the necessary mechanical and electrical fixes to get her to be in good shape as she is a daily driven car. i know what to prioritize. valve adjustment was due and so the painting of the valve cover was something i could do while it was off. the engine bay clean up then of course, followed.. this included painting of the intake manifold, cleaned and painted my afm.. renewal of exhaust manifold gaskets/heatshields as they were old and ugly, which lead to painting of the manifolds and the heat wrapping.. etc etc.. just my OCD and perfectionist self.

the suspension has all been planned out. but i had to wait.
the LowTec springs from the group buy i do have already,
some new shocks and now just waiting on ground control RSM's

it is obvious that different ethnic groups will prefer different mods and cars. they even directly market things to different demographics. I am not close minded, but it is what it is. who are 99% of the people who buys those japanese new driver arrow badge deals?

never said nothing about your maintenance, i know your car is clean, i even said it was a nice looking car. and it is definately in better shape than my car, half my cluster is lit up from everything that is wrong with it and the other half probably just have burnt out bulbs.

also not here to start anything. or attack people. there are other people on here for that and some are rather good at it, it also makes me laugh. so i will end my involvement in this thread.
