        what he said.

5 lug, E36 M3 braking gear? Or what?
        And what engine, S50?

Looks simply business, fucking badass business.
you asked for it... supercharged 3.0L 24v (already have the motor and supercharger kit, piggy back is on order and I need to rebuild the motor to my specs
edit: 98 m3 front suspension on 500lb/in GCs (and offset e30 M3 CABs) and 98 318ti rear suspension on 650lb/in GCs

Weston, I never ended up getting my hands on a tranny/clutch in time, so I'll have to wait, plus the piggyback didn't come in

rieger lip will probably be painted body color, or maybe just black again, once I finish fixing it up and re-enforcing it (as you can tell it got fucked up pretty badly)

e36 window switches were a piece of cake, I just hooked up the ground, then tried each wire with a 12v source until the switches lit up, then connected them up to see which wire controlled which direction (up/down) I don't remember which is which, but I can look for you guys some time in the next day or two. You have to have the non one-touch switches, otherwise it will not work (I have about 8 one-touch switches that don't work if anyone needs some) The trim bezel is from the sunroof switch of an e36 2/4 door or the rear seat switches from a 4 door

Man such a nice car. I cant wait to see how the engine/tranny goes.

About those e36 switches. How hard was it? I've been thinking about doing it, but there aren't many good writeups out there. (there's only one, and not very detailed).

Did you do the shadowline? I can't tell in the pics.. Do you have any pictures from the side? And last question, did you black out the door trim as well?
            it's bronzit alright :)

I have factory shadowline, although I haven't gotten off my ass and put it on. I have to pain the door trim, the factory stuff doesn't fit

            sorry for posting three times

Simple enough! I just dont understand why the other write up is so intuitive here. But why do you have to thave the bezel from the sunroof or rear windows? What's wrong with the front window switch bezels?

More about the engine please :D
What specs? Are you dropping the compression?
Seriously.....I am still in shock. This is the sickest car, OMG!
How soon is all this going to be finished? Isn't the rubber driveshaft only out of a automatic E36 4dr M3?

What kind of roll bar is that?

Also, are you running staggered Double spoke wheels? If so, how do they fit all around (need spacers anywhere)? I've got a set of contours that I might use if I do the 5 lug swap....

autos are cool. You can eat a double-double and sip on a vanilla shake in stop-and-go traffic.

                            damnit Neil.
it's a kirk racing roll bar, I got it through that recent group buy.
I am running the staggered m double spoke IIs 17x7.5 in front 17x8.5 in rear with 225/45/17 and 245/40/17. No spacers at all and the rear tires barely rubbed so I just rolled them with a small metal pipe and everything has been fine

Pasha - I'm going to hide my car somewhere while I'm gone :P hahaha

edit: you can't use the center console bezels because they are contoured to fit the e36 and will not fit correctly in the e30.. but they are still useable :?

hmm, how do you guys fit 17" wheels? I have 16" and had Yoko AVS ES100 and I was rubbing on the fronts, when we rebuilt the car I flared the front fenders about 1/3" and I had no more problems... My tires now still come right the edge but no rubbing.

It is called running the correct sized tire. You have oversized tires, so of course they are going to rub.
