I have oversized tires. 235/40R17s on 8.5's all around and they've never rubbed anything.

Ok, so the rear 17x8.5 et 41 fits. Good to know.

Is there any extra room on the inside (between body and inner tire)?? Meaning, could you possibly run more offset, such as an et45?

Well then again Chris, I never had any problem with the oversized tires I had in the rear.

However, the oversized tires tore the fuck out my fender liners in front. And kissed the fenders a couple of times.

I know you're probably gonna stick with the 245/40s for a while, but what are you considerations for future sizes on the front/rear? If you have any.
