I was thinking i wouldn't have seen you out of all the cars that passed me, but you were to only one i remember. I think the black fender and rack stuck in my head. i always think that car is my friend as he used to have thule bars and a gold corolla of that year.

If you ever bring the e30 to newburyport hit me up and we will do a photoshoot!

I see you're rocking MkII Recaros! I just got done rebuilding a pair of those to go in my car. What method did you use to mount them into your E30?

This is the thread on my seats, a few pages in shows the bracket adapters we made to use stock E30 seat sliders to mount them.

It has a bracket button, and I can turn it on and whatnot, but the pictures dont look very different. Maybe it's because it wasnt very light out to begin with. I'll have to play with it on a sunny day.

Very nice! I can't wait to drive in mine. I also used a red sharpie and colored the Recaro embroidery in. I found out they came red originally, and fade to white over time.

I still have to replace all of the little plastic covers that go over all of the reclining mechanisms tho, mine were all pretty much trashed.

Sweet, yours look much better now than in the previous pics! surprisingly all my covers are mint. I might have to try out that red sharpie trick;)

Yeah, they were pretty nasty when I first got them. I cleaned them with a carpet shampooer, and the water in the tank when I was done looked like grey chocolate milk, it was foul. And now that I've got the bolsters all rebuilt and padded back up, they coverings are all filled out nicely, too.
