thanks for the lesson in law professor. but it is you who is misinformed. it perfectly safe to buy correctly sized tires off the internet and have them installed by any qualified installer. i know of zero shops that wont install tires bought off the internet. its how i buy all my properly sized tires. i do know of LOTS of shops that wont install undersized tires due to lawsuits because its not fucking safe. but youre just stupid enough to sit here and argue that fact. if i tell you the sky is blue youll argue that fact too. if i gave a shit about any of you id google some heeter facts but in reality im hoping your pile your cars into a tree when a 185 stretched on a 9" rim blows and i wont have to read any of your annoying misinformation posts anymore. eat a stretched dickI thought you were 23?
Many shops won't install or perform many services. Why? Lawsuits that aren't their fault but will come back on them. Lots of tire shops won't mount/balance tires you didn't buy from them either. I guess buying tires off the internet is 'not safe'?
The shop that sponsors my car will not install short shift kits. Why? Owners that think they are racecar drivers money shifting. Then coming back and blaming some sort of 'install issue' was the reason. It happened more than once so no more SSK installs.
I don't really 'like' stretch tires as I perfer tracking my car. Ask Mike. If I find a wheel I REALLY want and it requires stretch... I will stretch a tire to hell and back if need be to get it mounted.Comment

noShow me one incidence of tire failure due to stretching (not rubbing because of poor fitment or lack of air pressure) and I'll admit that I'm incorrect. Just one.
Trust me, I've searched for hours on hours for some proof that they are unsafe, and I came out empty handed.Comment

`they are great for 75 yo women. she loves it. thank you for proving my pointComment

I lik ehte black centered rims- hate the green bumpers- love the stance. overall I think the car looks great.
and yeah, e34s are the suxor.
the biggest proble3m with stretched tires is that most of the time the load rating is under the cars weight that they are on- not so much the stretch--- to a certain level.Comment

e34s not so much. I would speculate that tire shops won't mount internet tires due to liability of damaging the tires while mounting, or the fact they ar merely paying someone to mount them and making no profit whatsoever on the product. It's kind of like bringing a frozen burger to mcdonalds and asking them to heat it up for you. If they burn it, they have to take one out of stock in order to appease you.Yours truly,
