True, but the OP joined in, in the ATL thread about how fender height matters not, in regards to rake, but only the wheel gaps.

What does that have to do with anything?

Mine's parked out in front of the house underneath a 150 year old Oak tree under a 1/2" sheet of ice. And I'm lower than you on 17's.

Your retort makes no fucking sense.

What?? Rake TECHNICALLY has nothing to do with wheel arches or fender heights or wheel gaps, its the body. I measure the rocker about a foot ahead of the rear wheel (avoiding the thicker low spot on the last few inches) and right behind the front wheel. That measures the levelness of the undercarriage. I never quite understand why people think rake has to do with what the wheels/tires look like to the body. If they're even, or any "positive" rake according to the dubbers, the rocker panel is sitting at a wicked slant to the ground FORWARD already.

Take for example a race car Where are you going to measure rake? Surely not the wheel gap, in that case rake can be changed to effect the ground effects of the car (ideally, not in particular to unmodified bmws). When it is flat, or even slightly higher in the back, it would still look "reverse" rake according to the wheel gap.

Now, if thats what all of you were trying to say in the beginning, meh.

I agree however, for the aesthetic stand point when you don't look at it too close and just what the body looks like in relation to the wheels, rake is backwards when its flat but I digress.
