    I figured it out, kinda. For digital photo professional i have to select Display Original Image or go in to Processing Raw Images tool. But i would not know how to update my raw plug in. It might be cause my photoshop is 7.0. Also my pictures are becoming heavily degraded when i save them. Even when i saved at the highest quality 16bit tiff (57.7mb photo).

    You may need to update your camera raw plug-in if Photoshop is not opening the raw files. The Canon software should, though. Are you trying to use ImageBrowser or Digital Photo Professional?

    What I read is that you need Photoshop Elements 3 to open RAW images.

    try using IrfanView, http://www.irfanview.com/ or FoxIt Reader http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php

    Here's some more photos.

    I was too lazy to drag out a tripod and I have no image stabilized lenses or a flash, so I ended up using my P&S for most of the shots. Image stablization + no mirror slap+ f/2 lens = great hand-holding potential, but small sensor = noisy FTL. Not very many photos because I eventually just gave up shooting.
