    DD Crashed.....

    While driving to work this morning in Memphis ,Tn some one from Compton, Ca pulled out in front of me ,unable to avoid it, rainy and 18 outside, I got some estimates today at around 5000 to repair. Surely the insurace will total it at that price, It doesn't seem like e30s bring what they are worth on ebay. Even blue book doesn't seem fair for a well maintained low milage car. Ok so How much is a nice 89 325i with a 154,000 ( have about 1500 in recepts also) in your opinion, Car has nice dash, almost perfect interior. I hope to get 3500 -4000 out of them. Is that rediculous?

                i had similar damage to my E30 in May, except that my right fender was smashed, not torn. It cost me around 3300 USD to get her back in shape. only minimal parts were replaced. Should cost a lot less in the US...

                  If the insurance decides to total it, what is a reasonable offer, at least 3300?

                      fender + hood + bumper + headlight + paint != $5000.

                              Sorry to hear, that is probably around $4000 if you have a good shop do it. If you do it yourself, it could be pretty cheap. Looks like hood, rad support, lights, bumper, upper front trim below the grille, grilles, fender (inner and outer), paint, and some plastic stuff in the engine bay. the hard part is the inner fender.
