    Recent Atlanta (area) addition...

    Hey guys,
I've posted a few times on r3v, but regularly peruse the postings and always enjoy the banter between the more lively members. At any rate, it's been almost 2 years since I've regularly driven my e30 and we have just recently been reunited. While waiting around for Christmas Eve dinner, here's some pics....

    '87 325is, Delphin Gray
    H&R lowering springs, IX weaves
    OBDI S52 swap - 234 whp, 221 ft-lb
BMP RS Aero kit (urethane front)
.... potential upgrade to MTech II kit in the future?

Comments are very welcome and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

first pic is what started it all...

looks good. Usually not a fan of that bumper, but you make it look great - at least in those pics anyway.

Thanks for that Mike. Yeah, I have my reservations about the bumper, as it sure isn't an OEM fit. I do like it more than the old Dboards.

Not really feeling up to modifying a set of plastic bumpers to fit either. A nice set of OEM MTech II bumpers and skirts would be nice though!

Thanks for the comments fellas! Since I just got it back after a two year "surgery", I'll have to drive it around for a bit before selling... but, I'll let you know, propcar.

My father did most of the swap at Motorsport Connections in Winston-Salem, NC. I worked on it on the rare occasion that I made it up there (sucky 5-hour drive from Marietta, GA). So, yeah, we did the swap. Even a little help from the late Pete McHenry in sorting out the wiring. He was certainly a great guy and it's a shame he's gone.

Thanks for the compliment about the twins though.... 88 535is (Alpineweiss/Cardinal) and the 85 635csi (Alpineweiss/Tan). Both are part of my dad's stable, along with his pimp 88 M6 (Schwarz/Lotus White). Mom's riding in a 98 540i/6 (Boston Green/Beige). I've been meaning to have a photoshoot with all those together...

                        nice car.

M20 turbos must be a thing of the past these days... All I see is 24v's nowadays.

What's pic 3? How you got it? Regardless, Delphin has always been one of my more favorite E30 colors.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

it's like the 24v's are slowly becoming the majority!
