I am from BC too! Mine just became a casualty of snow :( An SUV stopped dead in front of me in a turn because he couldn't make it onto his own unplowed driveway. In turn, I had to stop as well, losing all momentum, and I too got stuck. He saw this and thought he owed me a pull (rightfully so). Ignoring my repeated plead for him to go slow, he gave it one of those yank style slingshot pulls with lots of slack in the rope :(:(

It was a 'nooooooooooo' moment watching that rope taught up. Now I am in need of a new front bumper shock, and the mounting flange that it mounts to is seriously mangled up. I'm off to the junkyard again :(

step 1: cut his balls off

          step 2: fix your car

that sucks big time. I don't drive the e30 in the snow much, it's ridiculous the amount of ass-sliding going on anytime I take a turn. Plus the getting stuck part makes me drive right over ditches at 25 mph

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

This was a record setting amount of snow fall for the lower main land of BC, I will be leaving my e30 in the garage until this mess is all gone, and it looks like we will be getting some more Thursday and Saturday

You know what makes this awkward? This guy lives 4 houses down from me, and all this happened literally 10 meters from my driveway.

I have 3 sand bags, full snow tires and the LSD, so I had zero problems with traction over the entire snow storm saga here in Vancover -as long as the train-tracking isn't sooo bad that the mound in the middle of the packed snow track is much higher than the ground clearance of my car.

I've had 3 mishaps of my car now all involving awkward situations when it comes to asking for compensation:

              1) Senior manager at work backs into me on private work parking lot
              2) Super hot chick rear ends me, I felt bad asking for too much (no damage anyway, but I still got $250 haha)
              3) Neighbour nearly yanks my bumper off trying to help me.

Maybe I need a new, less cursed car.
