there is a sick 2002 in roanoke that had an m42 under the hood. look like a funnn car. some of my honda friends said they got wooped by it one day runnin up a local mountain.
I never got a free car, but i did get my 88 325i cab nearly perfect for $2K.
I am considering a 2002 project when I finish M tech II on the cab and the 318 and my CJ7 is restored My buddy just got a 2k2 for 250 bucks, will post pics.
I've posted this before.. I know this guy who has a 1602 from 1975, he's got an M10
engine with a big diesel truck turbo in it and Hestech or Haltech fuel injection.
300+ rwhp from 2 liters. He's got a BMW E34 M5 rear diff solidly mounted to the chassis
and a reinforced rear subframe, and there's an old 4-gear Getrag transmission.
0 - 100 km/h is in the low 3 secs with M/T tires. I forget his track times (1/4 mile).
