I'll be the first to admit it that my car isn't where it should be (after having the car for nearly a year,) but it isn't that typical plastic bumper, offset license plate, ziptied Volvo-lipped, sticker laden, lookatme attention whore crusty goodness your folks appreciate so much.

Next, euro is not always tasteful, it's just a form of BMW fanboyism. I'm not saying it's bad, but many "euro" cars turn out looking like the pick up trucks that the gardeners drive around LA. :p

I got the low beams for free, and brackets for next to nothing at the pick and pull. The front end is not done yet, and will look better soon. The delete actually made a difference performance wise when the weather is a little cooler. My HIDs do fine lighting the road, and I'm getting HIDs for my fogs soon.

Maybe I should go get some weaves, and all red tails, so that my car can look like every other played out e30. :roll:

I understand your beefs with the stickers and volvo lips, im not partial to them myself[ somewhat hypocritcal, yes i have a volvo lip]. I don't quite get what your beef is with plastics. And i think its unfair to say mariano's is the only tasteful e30 in the SoCal scene... theres quite a few tasteful ones out there

Hmmm. I hadnt noticed that thats the typical SoCal E30. Is it that prevalent with our cars? WHats your distaste with the plastic bumpers? My eta has plastics, I think among mods, its a pretty tasteful one (putting my bias aside). I can see your points, but I dont see it as being so all-over-the-place. Maybe I just havent been looking.
