            It's definitely pipes. Unless you're talking about the distortion in the weave on the CF, that's caused by the sharpening, compression, and some distortion from the sensor on the camera...

                                                            what lens did you use to shoot a lot of those blurred shots? It looks like they could be taken with a 50mm.
