I love small tails. They are my fave, let me say this... I don't hate you swappers, I just like cars with diving boards. i could pick up a set of plastics in a heartbeat and fab them to fit my rig. i like the 87 though. i like what came attached to it and the mad max valence. it in my opinion is one of the coolest. The plastic bumpers would look weird with it. And it would look like every other late model if I changed it to a newer valence.

Both of my mini trucks took years to build. I have only had the E30 for about 11 months. When you work, have bills, it takes time. I dont care what order I do things. I have suspension, I have wheels, and I have a motor. At the end of the day all I lack is a paint job. My car has zero dents and the blue paint still shines. I still have the blue hood as well

You valence is in tip top shape. So are your fogs. You didn't even hang that crappy hood right. Who are you trying to kid?

Its like,if you don't have Is lip, plastic bumpers, not lowred. you will get flamed for that.

???? I hate swapped bumpered cars. Anyone who has been on here for a week can tell you that. Also, the IS lip discussion makes sense. Save your money and buy the lip. You can't tell me taurus skirts and a volvo lip look better than IS skirts and an IS lip.... that is common sense. if you want to do it cause you're broke then fine. But don't try to play it off like you wouldn't do an IS lip and skirts if you had 400 bucks laying around. I personally don't hav a need for a lip or skirts. I own a black 87. and I love the way it sits. I am not saying that B/C I'm broke or live in the country. It just never ceases to amaze me the buttload of excuses people have when they half ass their car.

2. I don't care about the m20 in my dd anyway
3. i have an m3 exhaust now so my taste shouldn't be questioned
4. i have a miami styled minitruck on 22s so i'm legit
5. I own a welder (what?)
6. Half these guys wouldn't know what fabwork is (REALLY?)
7. I live in the country so my car gets torn up.

Cry me a river. You posted it, get ready for some opinions. It's r3v, take what is said to heart and use it to improve your style. No one said he had to get BBS's or an IS lip (which wouldn't work anyway). All i want is for one of you to tell me his car looks better than when he first bought it. Then tell me he takes care of it. if you can figure out a way to convince me of that, I will take everything back.

The typical hate towards rice comes when people put on the pep boys exhaust, cheap shit wheels, and unpainted body kits. The green wheeled drifter actually has decent wheels, and the ghetto, rice stuff done to his car serves more of a purpose. Spaced out fenders to clear huge tires. Zip ties because the car sees the track and it is more cost effective then replacing panels every time. There is a difference between a street car and a track car.

he ran sportmaxx wheels for a LONG time, has a ebay fart can-- has NEON GREEN wheels for christ sake, mounted his fenders all kinds of ghey to fit NON fitting wheels/tires (rice) and has more stickers that a 5y.o.'s sticker book.

I never said I like the car or the direction it is going in, just that I have seen worse--

and a bit of paint on a few parts and it wouldnt be all that bad----and cut a few zip-ties off maybe too.

I think the ricer zip ties look better than no front valance at all, and I have never hated the sportmaxx thing either.

And I am not trying to talk down the "green wheeled drift car" just trying to make a point that I don't understand why he gets praise for ricing out an e30-- and this guys getting killed.

Because to most people on this forum his car is not rice. He does what e30's do best.
