    I mean your car is bright orange! That is not exactly subtle. I happen to like it, but I don't see how bright green wheels can be judged by someone with a bright orange e30. Just my 2 cents.

    QFT. This guy has the right to modify his car how ever he wants and post up pictures. In turn we have the right to criticize him for it. And everyone else has the right to criticize us for our criticizing, even if their cars are orange. :-P

    totally, I personally don't consider his car "rice" though. I just think it has gotten worse and am praying it gets better. His trucks aren't "rice" either. In order to be rice he would need to remove those god awful rims. i would like to see more pics of the truck though.

    Wheels or paint aside.... That BBS kit with the IS apron really makes the diving board bumpers look great.

    You're car has great potential. And with 8 pages of the usual r3ving (why i opted not to read the whole thread) i hope someone has at least told you that. If this were my car here is what i would do....

    1.Paint : If money is an issue thats ok... save about $800 and go to Maaco. Do all the prep you can do yourself, and let them handle the rest. It wont be the greatest paint job, but it will fit in your budget and your car will look a whole lot better then it does now. Keep it simple and dont try to re-invent the wheel... choose some sort of a blue color since the car is already blue. Paint the diving board surrounds body color but keep all the trim black... and just do a refresh with some trim paint.

    2. Wheels: The stance on the car is fine... and if you like the wheels keep them until the car is finished in every other respect. And then decide if you want to opt for something else.

    3. Engine: If you can do an M50 then by all means put that in there.

    4. Interior: Dont reinvent the wheel here either. Refresh what needs to be refreshed and call it a day.

    You're car really has a lot of good potential... and i really like the way the BBS kit is making those huge bumpers look like the belong on the car. I'm not much of a kit guy, but i like your car.

    Thanks man. Like I said. Whenever my buddy gets back ill paint it. We painted his 240 and it turned out nice. I know how to do body work/prep, so that wont be that bad. My car doesnt have any dents that needs major attention so prep work will come easy..The M50 will in the next week or so.

The plastic bumpers would look weird with it. And it would look like every other late model if I changed it to a newer valence.
    well i dont have that valance... so... its an improvement on my car

    and the small tails keep it from looking like any otherlate model {plus im working on an mtech II valance}
