Looking sharp. Not crazy about the Silver centers, though.

                Looks great! Love it.

I need a pair of 9's for my M3. I am thinking about turbine covers with polished lips. Has anyone tried this? Pics?

My father's E34 M5 had polished non-staggered M-System I's when he bought it in 2006. I, personally, didn't like them. I think they looked perfect the way they rolled off from the factory (painted lips, covers, simple.)

Since then, it has rolled on AC Schnitzer Type II's and BBS RC300's, both 18" x 8.5". I prefer the Schnitzers.

Thank you. I now agree. They look better factory.

                      I'm thinking about it...

I've seen polished lips with black turbines and its not the prettiest thing I've seen. I think the turbine needs something that makes it pop...The OEM silver is meh, and black/darker color hide the design. The only way I could see a darker color being pulled off is if it were color matched. I contemplated that as well. But instead I went with white.

The M Systems do look good in silver though...I'm usually not of a fan of them without covers (probably because they're always black centers and I'm not a fan of those) but the silver makes them look interesting.

I agree with everything you've said here, and I like the white quite a bit. They look great on your car. The polished lips did not look so great with the silver turbines above. Maybe better with white. Tough to say. Color matched could be cool.
