Thats an interesting point of view, may I ask why?

Perhaps I should elaborate, I normally hate 16" wheel on early model E30's. I think they are just too large. 15" is the limit for early models and 16" is the limit for late models. The Schnitzer wheels (Type I and II, single or multipiece) all seem to look great a size larger than you'd normally go.

      Just my opinion though.

The right 16's look great early or late. Even a few 17's work well imo.

Hmm I feel the same except for 17" wheels on non-///M E30's. A few of them look cool but mostly they look too big, IMO. I think 16's are perfect. Youre actually the first person Ive heard of to have that opinion. Interesting.

Might look better yea, but I enjoy getting tires for $65 each too much.

Edit: and 16s and 17s cost WAY more cash than I'd want to drop.

                      Mariano,

When it comes to 17's, I agree over 90% of the time, but the real 17" Alpinas on the early car(s) pictured below just seem to work for me. I think the boxed lip on the originals vs. the rounded lip of the kopis really makes the difference.

Very true. The lip makes a huge difference.
