dmoney, paint is way pass due, she's going in mid Jan for full spray, hood it's CF by VIS, i tweak photo colors a bit. more of a yellow than brown. M cloths seats on the way too :)

my new 91 m42 calypso
on bilstein/h&r race w one coil off in front - pretty bouncy.. want to be lower but don't think I can take a bouncier ride driving in the city everyday.. drives great and handles awesome when roads are smooth.

Now on my 6th BMW in 4 years, just got this one this afternoon, 90 vert with 81k miles and 5 speed, its a bit needy but the price was right, bought it from the 2nd owner of only about a year and a half, one owner previous to that... Looking foward to getting her back in to shape, may even sell my 95 E36 vert, 318i w/a 5sp.....

Nice find....Looking at the photos it amazes me that someone would let a two owner 80K mile car get that trashed. The good news is that it will clean up nicely and with only 80K miles has ALOT of life left.

I know, I personally hate to see that sh*t also, was owned by a Professor from new that only drove it on weekends, guy I got it from bought it for his son who proceeded to trash it, thank god he only drove it a short time.... Could use a top, was considering the pin dot vinyl, it's cheap and kind of classic looking, any opinions on the vinyl, hell that's what my 63 Merc Comet had on it back in the day.........:)

Got her home this a.m., I know a guy with his own flatbed, brought it to my house for $35 bucks, did a few things and washed her up, two coats of wheel cleaner and a rim brush, the little bbs's look so much better now and vacumed the crap out of it.. Drove it round my area and it has a misfire on accelaration at about 25-3k rpm and has a coolant leak at the front of the engine, will probably have my local tech check it out, his shop is within walking distance down the street from my house ... some clean pics:)

just want you to know, yours is probably one of my favorite e30s. It might have something to do with it also being a calypso vert with a tan top but on my absolute favorite wheels.
