It was about 35 today in the Seattle/Tacoma area with snow flurries. Running a car in cold weather will do that.

e92 = best as a four door. I hate the sedan front end on the non-M, but love the ass. I love the front end on non-M coupes, but hate the ass. A sedan M3 is the best of both.

Looks like a riot, now get the optional wheels!

I have just over 500 miles on it so far. I've been too busy with the new job to have a chance to put a decent amount of miles on it yet. Overall I really dig it though, the grip/handlng of it are impressive. Big sticky tires and good suspension go a long way in that department. It kinda feels like a 5/8ths scale E39 M5 with the V8 and the 4 doors. It's a bit more nimble though, but the M3 makes less torque. I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet, other than the price of mods for it. Really fun car that is comfy too.

As for the color the sparkling graphite as BMW calls it is a one year color for the M3. It's no longer available on the 2009 cars. Honestly it wouldn't have been my first choice but after looking at a Silverstone sedan, the only other one BMW NW had I was sold on the grey. The silver car had the brushed aluminum trim which just was too much for my tastes, the carbon leather is more understated and fits in better with the rest of the interior on the car. With the financing offers and other incentives picking up the 08 only made sense.

I love the 18's and I love the 4 door version of this M3. I dont know what it is but its all backwards with this one.

the 4 door is cool... but if i were to get a new M3 it will be 2 door for me. Saw one on the road last night for a couple of miles... i really like those cars now. 4 door M3s fit a nice niche... but not for me. Regardless... thats still one great looking car.
