    How bad is this....

    Curious...

so now im on to removing shit and seeing how bad everything is...
the bolt to the right of the six, how essential is that? i stripped the shit out of it. the two on the left, i'm scared to touch as they were looking like they were about to strip also..

Got the left fender off, i cheated and tore it off as the clip by the turn wire had a bolt that was inaccessible

control arm still looks good, right? haha. i never took one off before, looks like its gonna be FUN >_<

Here is a good example of DOF for anyone into photography. lol.

depends on your skills, and what kinda work you want to do on it. I am sure I could get that car looking like new in a weekend if i had a parts car next to it.-- really the panel replacement shouldnt take more than a day, a few hours for suspension stuff, and a few hours painting it.-- but I do that stuff everyday.

It really depends on your ability to access cheap parts. Where I'm at in Ohio, I would say that is totalled and move on. The cost of parts would outweigh the value of the car. Thats not even including your time and labor.

                    totaled? gawddammit shit.

its my car. icy hill. right turn+concrete pillar = car did not fucking turn. enough at least.

maaaaaaaaaaaaan. btw its on liability only insurance, so the title will be ok, i think. its sitting in my driveway, i'm contemplating whether to dig into and see how far i can get. or part it out. i did take off the fender and tire, i halfway started on it last night. someone said as long as the frame isn't damaged it can be fixed???

as far as cost, as long as i don't get over 3x in what i paid for it, i'll be 'ok'. cars are an expense anyway.

i wanna keep the mauritsblau vert. sad times.

You didn't mention that it was a vert. Fix it up and buy an IX for those Colorado winters.

to fix that you'll have to get 2 new fenders, a hood, a valence (or straighten it as best you can), bumper, and possibly a radiator support.

If the radiator support is straight, this should be a bolt on affair. Not too difficult at all. The rad support is a bitch to replace. There are a ton of spot welds to cut out.

I guess you didn't catch the annihilated control arm and strut.
