Looks pretty good! Keep the bumpers, and the trim in chrome. Good contrast.

yep, the trimming is the hard part. just cut it down to the correct size, then position, then put about 25 sheet metal screws to hold it in place. I used Josh's DIY to get the idea. I just used screws instead of welds. Probably not quite as good, but it is definitely sufficient and very solid. I painted the screw heads and tips (on the inside) after installation to help prevent rusting.

you also have to trim the rubber bumper surrounds on the bottom. (if you plan to use the diving boards again)

does this mean you're keeping your car man? I really hope so.

          Lof8-

Really diggin' the car man. that late valence looks right at home. The car should look real purty w/ the RS reps.

            Wow.
If I ever get an early model again, I'm definitely gonna do this. I like the big bumpers with the good valences. Looks period correct. Good job!

Who let you cut up a late model E30????

how did you get a rear valence to fit? What car is it off of exactly? Looking for a rear apron for my 88 vert since with the racing dynamics front need something for the rear.

EDIT: that late rear valance looks really good.

That might not happen but who knows.

Its the valence off of any 88+ 2 or 4 door e30 (I know cabbies are different - so don't quote me on those)

Theres lots of cutting to remove it from the unibody of the donor car.

Is there a good reason for not going to plastics? Your car would look 10x better. It looks good now but I'd go plastics. Please don't tell me the reason for not going plastics is to be different.
